The Frothy Cup in downtown/old town Idaho Springs is a favorite for locals. Freshly pumped grounds are at your disposal!  2nd option: Don't stress. We know Starbucks is addictive, and you're absolutely covered! It's here.

Main Street is the #1 best spot for brunch.  We LOVE their flights of benedicts & cinnamon bread panko French toast, and their homemade bread. 2nd option: Marion's, if you're more of the "greasy spoon" kind of bruncher.

Blackstone Rivers Ranch (just 1 minute up the road from us) is the absolutely most breathtaking spot in Idaho Springs! It is a treasured place to wed & celebrate. Important to note, it is by appointment & invitation only.

The Vintage Moose in downtown Idaho Springs is the best late night spot around for drinks & snacks when you're not ready for your night to end too soon. 2nd option: The Yeti Saloon

Without a doubt, El Azteca (our local Mexican restaurant) has the best margs!  Go with the house small to get you started.  We think the small es muy grande y fuerte! You decide what's next...

Hands down, the 25 oz. Tomahawk Bison Ribeye at Mtn Prime Steakhouse is the winner - no contest!  This fine piece of meat is not cheap, but oh is it worth it! It can be easily shared by 3-4 people, which makes it a no-brainer.

The fish tacos at Tommyknocker Brewery are absolutely delicious, and with an enormous selection of craft brews to be sampled, you can't go wrong stopping & staying a while.

Our current favorites are: Echo Lake/Mt. Evans and St. Mary's Glacier, but don't forget to check out this terrific map for a ton of other amazing options. One of our favorite little-known hikes is the Loch Lamond trail.

Clear Creek County has an amazing mountain biking trail system. Start with the county's site here, then check out the Greenway plan to learn a little about this amazing addition to our community!

Idaho Springs is a hotspot for world class river rafting. Unfortunately, we can't select just one rafting company in town as our favorite. We have rafted with several, and have LOVED them all.

We super ♥ Loveland Ski Area for it's close proximity, and well-maintained slopes! A close second is Echo Mountain. Many of our locals love the night skiing there.

The Wild Grape takes our top spot for best shops in Idaho Springs. We LOVE all their special gifts.  There is truly something for everyone.
